Lecturer Expertise: Prof. Hadiyanto’s main areas of expertise lie in bioprocess engineering, with a focus on the utilization of microalgae for bioenergy, environmental, and food applications. His research covers the development of biorefineries, biomass-based biofuel production, and the use of microalgae for carbon capture and waste treatment (such as microplastics and pharmaceutical waste). In addition, he is also active in process optimization, modeling and simulation of bioprocess systems, and the development of sustainable technologies such as water treatment and renewable energy. The application of his research is evident in microalgae harvesting technology, wastewater treatment, and environmentally friendly energy systems.
