Lecturer Expertise:
Prof. Tri Retnaningsih Soeprobowati’s areas of expertise lie in environmental biology, with a primary focus on inland aquatic ecology, paleolimnology, ecohydrology, and the study of mangrove and lake ecosystems. Her research largely focuses on water quality, tropical aquatic ecosystem dynamics, ecosystem-based climate change, and the use of bioindicators (such as diatoms and phytoplankton) to assess environmental conditions. The application of her research covers sustainable environmental management, aquatic ecosystem conservation, ecosystem-based climate change mitigation, as well as the development of ecotourism models and blue carbon in coastal and aquatic areas of Indonesia.
